All maintenance is free forever, including:
rhodium plating, re-tipping of the claws, sizing, cleaning, and polishing.
We also replace any lost diamonds, even engagement ring centre stones.
It's not just diamond rings - it's earrings, pendants and bracelets too! Every piece of diamond jewellery purchased from Appelt's is covered.

Yes! We offer a variety of payment methods. One of these options is Flexiti, which allows you to take home your purchase as soon as it arrives, while spreading out payments over a specific period of time, with low interest.
Layaway is the second option, which allows you to make payments over three months before taking your purchases home.
Engagement Rings
Yes, we do have some rings that are already set with a diamond if you would like to buy it and take it home that day!
However, most of our rings must be special ordered. This allows you to customize it to your exact preference, including the stone shape and size. A special order ring can take between 4 to 6 weeks to be hand-crafted by the designers.
Occasionally it is possible to rush a ring if you have a deadline; however, it is essential that you mention this to your Diamond Specialist at your appointment.
Of course! We do not require an appointment to come in and meet with one of our Diamond Specialists, and we do encourage you to drop in when it is convenient for you.
However, if you know that there is a specific date and time you would like to visit one of our stores, feel free to book an appointment at your closest location.
Yes, most of our engagement ring mounts (the ring itself) and the centre stone are sold separately. We believe that your ring is a symbol of the love that you two share, so it should be unique to you.
Since the two items are sold separately, you can choose the perfect stone and mount, instead of having to compromise on one or the other.
This also allows you to have more control over your ring and budget since you can decide which aspects of the ring and stone are important to you.
You can never be too early when looking for wedding bands. As most wedding bands take 4-6 weeks to come in, we suggest coming into one of our locations within a few months of getting engaged.
Repairs
Our goldsmiths are able to repair chains, replace gemstones, re-tip claws, create custom pieces, size rings, and SO much more. We can even repair eyeglasses!
Our horologists can repair and replace batteries, gaskets, pins, clasps, stems, crowns and pushers, crystal and the bracelet. We can also perform a complete overhaul on your watch if needed, water test and seal it, and remove links.
Most ring resizing and watch battery replacements take a week on average. Other repairs depend on the type of work being done.
With a goldsmith at all of our locations, almost all repairs are able to be performed in store.
